Audition Information All Voice Types and Instruments Welcome!
Genesee Valley Orchestra and Chorus (GVOC) is delighted to announce its 48th season, under its newly appointed music director, Dr. Yunn-Shan Ma. Concerts are planned for December 2-3 and May 4-5, with repertoire now in the planning stages.
Auditions will be held Tuesday evening, August 29, 2023 at Trinity Reformed Church, 909 Landing Road, Brighton.
SINGERS, please prepare a short solo or short excerpt of a choral piece you have sung.
STRING instruments, please prepare a short solo or orchestral excerpt.
We are open to certain WIND instruments; please leave a message and arrangements will be made.

We are an auditioned ensemble of dedicated musicians of all levels of training, united by a passion for music and our commitment to bringing high quality performances to our community. We are seeking members for all sections of the chorus and orchestra.
Auditions will be heard by appointment with dedicated open audition dates generally in August/September and January, and we welcome members throughout the season at the discretion of the Music Director.

Please note that in order to perform in any concert, our members must attend all rehearsals for that concert (with a limited number of excused absences).
