We are proud to unveil our new and updated website! This effort was supported by grants from the Greater Rochester Arts and Cultural Council and the Rochester Area Community Foundation. The update was designed by K2 communications to incorporate the vibrant new logo introduced last season and to add new features including on-line ticket purchase and donations, pictures of and information about our members, information about the music and our soloists, and an easy e-mail link. Bookmark us and visit us often!
As our 33rd season unfolds, GVOC brings you exciting programs of classical favorites with an exceptional level of performance. Concerts this season will highlight the classical roots and versatility of GVOC's chorus and orchestra. We will perform the music of Schubert, Handel, and Gounod. At our final concert of the season, featuring a wonderful selection of opera choruses and arias, meet the conductor, guest artists and GVOC members at our post-concert receptions.
Raffaele Ponti, internationally accomplished and acclaimed conductor, begins his fifth season with GVOC. Raffaele's musicianship and charismatic personality connects with musicians and audiences alike, resulting in exciting and inspiring performances!
