First Musical Memory: listening to Beethoven's Pathetique when I was extremely young and singing music from "Aladdin" (a Children's Record of the Month selection) at around the age of 4 (many moons ago!).

Favorite Piece of Music: anything classical with YoYo Ma--I find the deeper tones of the cello to be very relaxing! I'm also a serious musical theater person (serious and musical theater is really oxymoronic!) because of the variety. Since joining GVOC I've also developed a strong interest in requiems and masses from the classical period! And I LOVE "Ode to Joy" because it's challenging to sing (and to remember when to stand up!).
