First Musical Memory: I was dancing and singing as a child and always listening to great music.  I started dance lessons when I was 7 and piano lessons when I was 4. My folks would take me to the ballet in St. Louis, MO to see the current stars of ballet.   In high school I began singing in choir and in small ensembles which I loved as much as dancing.

Favorite Piece of Music: In 2007, I loved learning and singing Luigi Cherubini’s Requiem in C Minor. I guess I would have to say that I enjoy working on music that is not familiar to me. The 2008 concert season was exciting with new Pops Music for February and Howard Hanson’s Cherubic Hymn in the Spring concert was a great experience.
