First Musical Memory: My father, his brother and a friend “jamming” blue grass music on a banjo, violin and guitar. There was always music in our house –particularly “Don Messer and the Islanders” when we were young.

Favorite Piece of Music: Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony - -the Pastoral. When I listen to it, I can see what the music represents in my mind. It soothes me when I am stressed. I play it every spring as soon as it is warm enough to open the windows and let in the fresh air!
